February is the month we celebrate both Black History and LOVE.

For this mix, I wanted to explore both simultaneously. Music has always played an important role in Black Culture and, therefore, Black History. From Funk & Soul to modern-day R&B and Hip-Hop, it has been used as the leading tool of self-expression. This time around, we’re focusing on love and relationships. I hope you enjoy it!

AKA the guy with the afro often found dancing in or around the DJ booth!

I go by the name ROCKSTARR DJ KayPlaya. I’ma full-time DJ and a lover of music. Music that makes you dance, music that makes you think, music that makes you feel. Under normal circumstances, I perform both on the Las Vegas strip locally and for special/private events. When not doing that I stream DJ sets online to keep the party going!
