Robert Bjorn Taylor is a Bartender and General Manager in Austin, Texas. He has been keeping up well with his girlfriend during this unfortunate pandemic. The constant thing they have in this quarantine is COFFEE and thank goodness! He also thanks Jägermeister for the Cold Brew version. What inspired this cocktail is his love for coffee and having a banana every morning for breakfast. Some might feel a bit bored in these times as he does, but he also likes to think of his daily routines as work. That might include 12hrs of Netflix, 7 daily meals plus snacks and staring at his girlfriends’ dog. Bjorn is his own chairman most of the time and he is in a chair. This is his morning cocktail with all he needs to have a chill day. Bjorn is the C.O.B, but he did have to make a vegan version for his girlfriend, the C.E.O.

  • 1.5 part Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee
  • .5 part CBD infused coffee
  • 1 part Banana simple syrup (see below)
  • 1 part heavy cream or oat milk (vegan)
Method: Add all ingredients, excluding dairy or non-dairy milk, then shake. Add ice to rocks glass and pour ingredients in the top with dairy or non-dairy milk preference.
Banana Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ¼ nutmeg
  • ½ salt
Cut up one banana. Add water, salt, nutmeg, and sugar to pan/pot, then stir. Heat at Med/Hi to dissolve. Add banana when water starts to bubble. Boil and stir until pieces are broken down (should be 3 to 5 minutes.) Look for richer color taste syrup. When broken down, take off heat and let set for about 5 mins. Then strain either through fine strainer or super bag. Strain/press to get everything out.
