I am relatively new to bartending but I feel like the craft has really taken hold of my personality. Not only do I love spirits but I love the story they tell about cultures, the economics of alcohol and how they tie us all together.
Bartending to me hasn’t been about having the flashiest technique or the most beautiful cocktails. It has been about connecting with people, being hospitable and giving each guest a little bit of myself to brighten their day and make their experience memorable.
Favorite Way to Enjoy Jägermeister: Neat but I’ve also created a sour with rye whiskey and egg whites called “Back to school special”.
Bartender Advice: Be a good person. Don’t judge or tell guests how to imbibe.
