FIRST RESPONDERS/ USFRA PARTNERSHIP 2020
For more than 80 years, Mast-Jägermeister has been committed to supporting local charitable and communal projects and organizations in our hometown of Wolfenbüttel in Germany. The family owners of Mast-Jägermeister remain close to the business’s founding location in Germany and are highly committed to working with the local community. With the recent outbreak of the coronavirus, the company immediately donated 5,000 liters of alcohol to the local hospitals in Braunschweig, Germany, and has set up the global initiative #SAVETHENIGHT to live up to our family values in these challenging time.
Here in the U.S., we take our family values to heart, strive to be an integral part of our local communities, and make it our mission to give back. As a proud partner of the United States First Responders Association (USFRA), Mast-Jägermeister US is committed to supporting the men and women who serve the communities where we live, work and play. In partnership with the United States First Responders Association (USFRA), we have joined forces to support the first responders and their surrounding communities through various local projects and regional disaster relief efforts such as Hurricane Michael, the Californian Wildfires, Hurricane Dorian, and the recent violent tornadoes that ripped through Tennessee. With the coronavirus outbreak, we have provided relief efforts to five Fire Departments around our headquarters of White Plains, New York, to help make a direct impact and support the first responder communities in and around the epicenter of the pandemic.
The USFRA is a small yet very knowledgeable organization dedicated to educate, inspire, strengthen and build communities by bringing together personnel from many diverse fields. A place where they can share their knowledge and expertise and form a closer bond of fellowship between its members and society with their focus primarily on: training, tactics, safety, education, and community outreach.
There’s more good work to be done as One Community. Together.
