Sweet Potato Tater Tot Loaded Baked Nachos

Chef Chris Santos Says…

"Everyone loves tater tots. Everyone loves nachos. Everyone loves loaded baked potatoes.

And everyone loves celebrating with ice-cold Jägermeister. Here we have the ultimate ’I can't stop eating this’ dish, heaped with mouth-watering ingredients like crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and just the right heat from charred jalapeños. All of these make for one big delicious snack to rally you to the finish line."

Ground turkey can be pretty boring, but the depth of flavor in the spicy headnotes of Jägermeister adds a complexity that is uncommon in most nachos. Adding a bit of sour cream gives an added kick at the top.

Celebrity Chef Chris Santos, our Chef Meister, and Jägermeister Ambassador believes that the front of the house & back of the house is the Heart of the House. The Heart of the House is one combined unit working together, passionately creating food, beverage & hospitality.

Using a Blender bottle with the included ball takes the work out of the freshly shaken whip, but you can also do this at home in a mason jar or some shaker tins. You can even toss in the spring of a Hawthorne strainer for the same effect!

Really into those coffee or chocolate flavors. You could kick it up a notch by opting for a coffee or chocolate stout in the Cocktail!

The Creative Process & Inspiration

Chef Santos' Sweet Potato Tater Tot Loaded Baked Nachos are the perfect gameday serve. I often ask myself before the games start, "Do I have a coffee? A beer? Or a cocktail?" This time we're going with all three with a Beer & Coffee Cocktail, The "Buenas Noches."

While the "Totchos" hit you with seasoned spicy goodness, this cocktail will cleanse your palate between bites with the cream on top and the bitterness of the stout coming through. The bold coffee and cacao flavors round it out, with a nice finish from the ancho chile liqueur.
