Jägermeister midnight oil cocktail

JÄGERMEISTER MIDNIGHT OIL "IN THE STYLE OF A CORN & OIL"

Recipe:
1 part aged rum
1 part Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee
½ part Falernum
2 dashes Angostura Orange

Method: Combine all ingredients in mixing glass. Stir with ice. Strain over fresh ice in DBL Old Fashioned glass, preferably over large cube or ice sphere. Garnish with orange zest.

TIPS & TRICKS

DIY Falernum
½ cup sliced raw almonds
40-50 whole cloves
½ cup over proof rum
10 limes
1 ½ cup water
1 cup sugar
2” piece fresh ginger (optional)

Method:

  1. Toast almonds at 400 degrees approximately 5 min.
  2. Add cloves and almonds to mason jar, and grated peeled ginger root
  3. Add over proof rum
  4. Zest half the limes, with little to no white pith, add to mason jar
  5. Add over proof rum
  6. Seal and steep for 2 days, shaking jar occasionally
  7. Take water, sugar, and juice of limes in pot and bring to a boil, creating a syrup
  8. Strain contents of mason jar and add to cooled mixture of lime juice, sugar and water (Syrup)
  9. Transfer to mason jar or glass bottle with closure and store in refrigerator.
  10. Use in your Midnight Oil Cocktail!
