Bartender Name: Michael Toscano
Cocktail: The Hustle
- 2 parts Jägermeister
- 1 part Cold Brew Concentrate
- 2 parts Fever Tree Indian Tonic Water
Garnish: Everything bagel seasoning and sugar rim
Method: Build in the glass Using an atomizer to get an even layer of water across the side of the glass you’d like to garnish with the everything bagel sugar rim. I often-times only season one side of a glass to give the guest the option of whether they want to enjoy the seasoning with each sip.
Start with the 1 part Cold Brew Concentrate poured over the ice Add 2 parts Jägermeister Using the spiral of a bar spoon pour the 2 parts tonic down into the cocktail gently lift the ice from the bottom several times and gently stir to mix the ingredients without causing the tonic to bubble. Enjoy responsibly.
*Everything bagel seasoning sugar rim is blended 1:1 seasoning to granulated sugar

Hey Michael, what inspired you to create this amazing cocktail?
What New Yorker doesn’t understand hustle? Constantly moving,; running on nothing more than an iced coffee, sugar, and an everything bagel, bacon, egg and cheese. As I reacclimate to NYC after living in Los Angeles, I can’t stop thinking about the inspiration I feel when I’m surrounded by people who truly understand hustle..
We may be a little bitter at times, but just like this cocktail, there’s a touch of sweet just under the bitter surface. No way a new yorker is letting anyone carry a stroller up or down the subway steps without offering to help! New York will beat your ass 6 days out of ten, 3 days will just be okay, but that 1 day when the hustle pays off! There is nothing better than that. So find your inspiration, enjoy a great drink with friends, but don’t ever forget to hustle.
What does hospitality mean to you?
There is no way I could answer this in the allotted space I have for this feature, so let me just say, it is EVERYTHING. It is the foundation of what I choose to do for a living. I love making people feel good and creating experiences for them. The cocktails and food are just the methods we use to accomplish the ultimate goal.
